Lake Area Foundation List of Funds

The Lake Area Foundation is a community foundation serving the ten counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor, and Wayne in South Central Kentucky. We are a collection of endowed charitable funds created by individuals, families, companies, nonprofit organizations and community entities to benefit different charitable organizations and causes throughout South Central Kentucky.

Region-Wide Funds:

Lake Cumberland Area Development Fund – Started by the Ron and Donna Diaz Family as an unrestricted fund to benefit the ten county Lake Cumberland region.

Pat Bell Administrative Fund – Started by staff of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District for the purpose of securing on-going professional administration of the Lake Area Foundation.:

Adair County Courthouse Preservation Fund – Started by Dan Antle for the on-going preservation of the Adair County Courthouse.
Adair County Women's Circle Fund – Started by the Adair County Women's Circle to fund unmet needs in Adair County.
Lindsey Wilson College Fund – Started by Dan Antle to fund the on-going needs of Lindsey Wilson College.

McCreary County Christian Care Center Fund – The fund was started to address unmet needs in McCreary County.

God's Food Pantry Fund – Started by an anonymous donor to provide food for needy families in Russell County.
Habitat for Humanity Fund – Started by an anonymous donor to support the Russell County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Russell County Development Fund - Unrestricted – Started by Dr. Jerry D. Westerfield to fund unmet needs in Russell County.
Russell County Emergency Shelter Fund – Started by an anonymous donor to provide unmet needs for The Inn through the Russell County Emergency Shelter Board.
Russell County Women's Circle Fund – Started by the Russell County Women's Circle to fund unmet needs in Russell County.
